Images Of Valor – Latinos and Latinas in World War II

In expectation of National Hispanic Heritage Month, The National Health & Public Safety History Museum is hosting a traveling exhibit entitled “Images Of Valor – Latinos and Latinas in World War II”.  This exhibit will be displayed until September 13 and then will be replaced by a second exhibit entitled “Hispanic War Heroes” which will remain on display through October 15.  These exhibits show the tremendous efforts, accomplishments and sacrifices made by the hispanic community during the second world war as well as the struggles experienced by a community that, at the time, was not treated the same despite their dedication and loyalty.
