Ricardo was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, the second child of a family of six. He worked for eleven years in residential construction. He then went to work for a municipality where he has worked for the past twenty-seven years. He started there as a laborer and continued to be promoted until achieving his current position as Streets Operations Manager.
